examen médical complet par des spécialistes dans la réhabilitation des

Ali Aarrass, pour se reconstruire, pouvoir faire un bilan est essentiel
Le 2 avril 2020, Ali Aarrass est sorti de la prison de Tiflet 2 au Maroc. La tête haute, le sourire aux lèvres. Une autre épreuve, trois mois de confinement au Maroc sous étroite surveillance policière, l’attendait avant de pouvoir enfin retrouver les siens en Belgique.
Ali Aarrass savait mais ne s’imaginait pas à quel point toutes les épreuves qu’il a traversées l’ont marqué, physiquement et psychologiquement.
Il faut maintenant faire un bilan complet, non seulement pour qu’Ali Aarrass puisse mieux comprendre ce qui lui est arrivé, étape nécessaire à sa reconstruction, mais également pour objectiver ce que d’aucuns oseraient encore nier ou minimiser et pour lui permettre de demander réparation.
Un rapport médical complet est indispensable pour faire taire ceux qui en Espagne, au Maroc, ou en Belgique voudraient prétendre qu’Ali Aarrass pouvait être extradé, n’aurait été ni torturé ni maltraité, des années durant, ou n’aurait pas eu un besoin impérieux d’assistance pendant ces années infernales.
Malheureusement, le coût d’un tel rapport est très important. Il requiert le0», régissant ce type d’expertise tout-à-fait particulière, ainsi que l’étude complète du dossier médical.
C’est un montant de 8.100€ qui doit ainsi être récolté. Toute contribution peut être versée sur le compte tiers d’un des avocats d’Ali Aarrass, Me Dounia Alamat (BE95 6303 2074 0158), avec la mention « Ali Aarrass ».
Nous vous tiendrons bien entendu au courant des suites juridiques ou politiques données à cette expertise, à l’occasion d’un évènement public. La date de celui-ci est encore incertaine et en fonction du rétablissement d’Ali !

Voor het herstel van Ali Aarrass, is de opmaak van een medische balans essentieel !
Op 2 april 2020 verliet Ali Aarrass de gevangenis van Tiflet 2 in Marokko. Met opgeheven hoofd en een glimlach op het gezicht. Maar voor hij zijn familie in België kon terugzien, wachtte er hem een nieuwe beproeving. Omwille van de sanitaire crisis kon hij het land niet uit en moest hij de volgende drie maand bij een familie in lock down blijven, onder scherp politietoezicht.
De pijn die Ali Aarrass tijdens de afgelopen twaalf jaar heeft doorstaan heeft hem fysiek en psychologisch getekend.
Het is nu tijd om een volledige balans
op te maken. Op de allereerste plaats voor het herstel van Ali zelf.
Maar ook om objectief en medisch te doen vastleggen van wat er met Ali
gebeurd is, zodat niemand die realiteit nog zal ontkennen of
minimaliseren.
Er zijn in
Spanje, Marokko en België immers nog steeds mensen die beweren dat de
uitlevering van Ali Aarrass aan Marokko geen probleem vormde, dat hij
niet gefolterd en mishandeld is, dat hulp en bijstand helemaal niet
nodig was. Een uitgebreid en gedetailleerd medisch verslag is
noodzakelijk om een einde te stellen aan deze beweringen.
De kosten om een dergelijk verslag te kunnen opmaken zijn spijtig genoeg zeer hoog.
De opmaak vereist een
specifieke expertise en een volledige studie van het medische dossier.
Meerdere deskundigen, specialisten in de evaluatie van de effecten van
foltering, vertrouwd met het « Protocol van Istanbul », moeten hiervoor naar België komen.
Om dit te kunnen realiseren is er een bedrag van 8.100 euro nodig.
Daarvoor zoekt het Comité Free Ali Aarrass dringend 200 personen die elk 40 euro willen storten.
Uw
bijdrage, met vermelding van “Ali Aarrass”, kan worden gestort op de
rekening van advokaat Dounia Alamat, een van de advocaten van de
verdediging van Ali Aarrass. Haar rekeningnummer is BE95 6303 2074 0158.
Vergeet niet « Ali Aarrass » te vermelden in de mededeling.
Uiteraard houden wij U op de hoogte van de vooruitgang in de steuncampagne en zullen wij u uitnodigen voor een openbaar evenement waar de juridische en politieke gevolgen van deze expertise zullen toegelicht worden. De datum van deze bijeenkomst is nu nog niet zeker en hangt af van Ali’s herstel.

Ali Aarrass : a full medical assessment is needed for him to start rebuilding himself.
On 2 April, Ali Aarrass left Tiflet 2 prison, Morocco with his head high, a smile on his lips. Another ordeal awaited him: three months stuck in Morocco under strict police surveillance, before he could finally return to his loved ones in Belgium.
Ali Aarrass knew, but could not imagine, how much damage, physical and psychological, had been inflicted on him by everything he went through.
Now, he needs a full medical assessment, not only so that he himself can better understand what has happened to him, a necessary stage in his recovery of himself, but although so that no one can again deny or minimise the damage, and to enable him to demand reparations.
A full medical report is indispensable to silence those in Spain, Morocco and Belgium who would like to pretend that Ali Aarrass’ extradition was lawful, that he was not tortured or ill-treated over years, and that he did not need urgent assistance during those years of hell.
Unfortunately, the cost of such a report is significant. It requires several experts to travel to see him, specialists in evaluating the effects of torture and familiar with the Istanbul Protocol, which governs this very special kind of expertise, as well as a complete study of the medical file.
We need to raise €8,100 for
