Les pensions d’un Norvégien ou d’une Canadienne peuvent-elles contribuer au génocide à Gaza ?

Voici un nouvel épisode de l’économie du génocide, une série destinée à résumer le rapport de la rapporteuse des Nations unies, Francesca Albanese. Le génocide ne s’exécute pas seulement : il se finance. Et sans cet argent public et privé, la machine d’occupation ne pourrait pas se maintenir un seul jour.

Ces entreprises financent la dette israélienne, permettant son niveau exorbitant de dépenses en armement.

L’Union européenne ne peut pas continuer d’en être complice à travers ses banques, ses investissements ou son inaction politique.

Des banques comme BNP ou Barclays, des fonds d’investissement comme BlackRock, ainsi que d’autres entreprises internationales comme Vanguard ou Allianz, canalisent du capital vers des projets directement liés à des violations des droits humains, à la construction de colonies, à l’infrastructure militaire, à la surveillance de masse ou à l’exploitation de ressources volées.

Mais il n’y a pas que le secteur privé. Les fonds de pension du gouvernement norvégien ou du Québec investissaient dans certaines entreprises mentionnées dans le rapport — même si, bonne nouvelle, le Fonds norvégien a rectifié.

Albanese explique également comment la diaspora ultra-orthodoxe et des organisations de colons reçoivent des dons de plusieurs millions provenant des États-Unis et d’Europe, déductibles des impôts et destinés à maintenir et étendre les colonies illégales.

Quand nous parlons de génocide, nous parlons aussi de ceux qui le financent.

بنوك مثل BNP وBarclays، وصناديق استثمارية مثل BlackRock، وشركات دولية أخرى مثل Vanguard وAllianz، توجّه رؤوس أموال نحو مشاريع مرتبطة مباشرة بانتهاكات حقوق الإنسان، وبناء المستوطنات، والبنية التحتية العسكرية، والمراقبة الشاملة، واستغلال الموارد المنهوبة.
هذه الشركات تموّل الدين الإسرائيلي وتتيح له مستوى إنفاق عسكرياً هائلاً.

وليس القطاع الخاص وحده المعني. فصناديق التقاعد التابعة لحكومتي النرويج وكيبك كانت تستثمر في شركات ورد ذكرها في التقرير — مع الإشارة إلى خبر جيّد: الصندوق النرويجي تراجع عن ذلك.

كما تشرح ألبانيزي كيف تتلقى الجاليات اليهودية المتشددة ومنظمات المستوطنين تبرعات بملايين الدولارات من الولايات المتحدة وأوروبا، تُخصم من الضرائب وتُخصَّص لدعم المستوطنات غير القانونية وتوسيعها.

عندما نتحدث عن الإبادة الجماعية، فإننا نتحدث أيضاً عن الذين يموّلونها.
ولا يمكن للاتحاد الأوروبي أن يستمر في التواطؤ عبر مصارفه واستثماراته أو عبر تقاعسه السياسي.

Can the pensions of a Norwegian man or a Canadian woman contribute to the genocide in Gaza?

This is an installment of the economics of genocide, a series summarizing the report of the UN Special Rapporteur, Francesca Albanese. Genocide is not only carried out — it is also financed. And without this public and private money, the machinery of occupation could not last a single day.
Banks such as BNP and Barclays, investment funds like BlackRock, and other international companies such as Vanguard or Allianz channel capital into projects directly linked to human rights violations, settlement construction, military infrastructure, mass surveillance, or the exploitation of stolen resources.
These companies are financing Israeli debt, enabling its exorbitant military spending.
When we speak of genocide, we are also speaking of those who finance it.
The European Union cannot continue to be complicit through its banks, its investments, or its political inaction.

But it is not only the private sector. The pension funds of the Norwegian and Quebec governments were investing in companies mentioned in the report — though, good news, the Norwegian Fund has now reversed course.

Albanese also explains how the ultra-Orthodox diaspora and settler organizations receive multimillion-dollar donations from the United States and Europe, tax-deductible and aimed at sustaining and expanding illegal settlements.
